    I know this is a little extreme but if you have power outages often, a generator might be something to look into.

    Yeah Edison had a maintenance power outage at my place last night. Went from 10:30 till 5 this morning. Fun stuff!! :-/

    some of the battery pumps are made so that u can have have them plugged in and the tank all of the time but the only come on when there is no electricity in the outlet.

    buy a generator.. get pops to got one that will run the ac as well.. hrmm or next time you might rent one from ACE.. Also I know Honda makes a couple little 1000 and 2000 watt ones that will run just the tank..

    Glad to hear everything made it.

    Get a UPS and a couple of Koralia 1s. My UPS will run two K1s for 9 hours. Not all power heads and pumps will start on a UPS running of its battery since the voltage output is a not a pure sign wave. The K1s will run though Bigger Koralias won't.

    I have the same UPS running my DSL modem, router and my Apex controller. I have it set up to email me and text me when I have a power outage.

    a geneartor would be nice but we rarely get power outages where i live, this was a first in a really long time and first with my tank and its now 9 months old

    hehe i know i know i should have been prepared but i did try to find the battery powered stuff before but could never find any

    oh that's neat i didnt know about that

    sadly a generator isint an option but it would be nice to have one

    thanks ill look into the UPS maybe worth checking out :)
