    makes sense.. so is 18-22 acceptable for drinking?

    do you have to worry about copper content if using an RO/DI?

    18 - 22 ppm is acceptable for drinking water. In fact, I drink 40 ppm water.

    You do not have to worry about copper content if you use a RO/DI. The RO membrane will reject 99% of the copper in your water. The DI will take care of the rest.
