What are the odds of a non reef safe crab living in a colony of millipora? its been there for atleast a week, but after closer inspection, its got serrated claws, its hairy, and the tips are black. should i just pull it to be safe?

The odds are probably surprisingly good. There are good crabs too though and other crabs that are sort of in-between good and bad. If it is a predatory crab it should go. From the sound of it, it sounds like it could be, but it's actually somewhat tough to say based on just the features you described, although they often are signs of a predatory crab (not always though). Do you have a picture? Or Have you noticed any tissue damage to the coral?
