I've had my yellow tail damsel for almost 3 months, and he's been healthy so far.

But today I noticed his poop was lighter in colour than usual, and from a light red it fades to white.

He's still eating well, so should I be worried?

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I have a really mean bicolour pseudochromis who has been bullying my damsel, so I've kept him (pseudo) in a breeding container. Planning to rehome him soon.

But he managed to escape through a hole in the bottom last night, and had a field day beating my damsel up before I caught him and put him back into the container.

Damsel suffered some torn fins and scales, but I'm pretty sure he'll be fine.

My pseudochromis has barely been eating ever since I confined him though. :\

As long as your damsel continues to eat well it should be fine. The color change could be due to diet change from the pet store to your home.

Diet change? But I've had him for almost 3 months now.

Today I noticed his poop is light yellow and stringy.

Does he have an internal parasite or something?
