Resolved polypropylene piping reef safe or not?

can any 1 tell me if polypropylene piping is ok for my reef tank thanks

 

Yes but why? Its so expensive and assembly is a pain (its has to be electro-welded).

Most use PVC, easy to set up.

the plastic kind. no really any regular pvc you can get at any hardware store should be fine. sorry for the sarcasm.

 

white plain plastic pvc pipe is what most people use..

 

Really, any plastic pipe will be fine, PVC is just a type of plastic.

 

y i ask is i thort sum pvc pipes leach chemicals in to the water but you say any pvc is ok is that right ? thanks

 

I have had the white pvc like the pvc you get at the hardware store in my tank with no problems. I have had it in there for over a year now. Many of us use pvc for aquascape.
