I'm slowly getting ready to set up my 90g tank and sump. I've never ran a reef ready tank and sump before. So I'm a complete noob. Just trying to get some ideas on how to do the plumbing without flooding my apartment. I ordered my return pump today. Quite One 3000. I have a rough pic of my setup. Any help would be great. Thanks. Was thinking about something like this. Just not sure on check valves or drilling a small hole somewhere to avoid back siphoning incase power goes out. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1434944889.182556.jpg

Most ppl like to place the return in the middle with the skimmer to the left and the fuge to the right. The purpose is to control flow in the refugium (i.e. slow wit down).
