Great, thanks Marshall. I'll try to get them today. If it wont work out i;ll get those 14K Maxsect Razor, i spoke to the rep at BML, he advised on getting a 30" unit instead of 36" and hanging it. This will be my option #2. Once i get either units i'll post pictures.

I had this same delima about a month ago. I have a 45 Gal High reef aquarium. I purchased the phonton 16 from reef breeders for about 319.00 Its compact programable and has EXCELLENT Par readings for a reef aquarium your size. Also comes with a hanging kit. I havent look back since. I LOVE MY LIGHTING SYSTEM!! for the price-I couldnt do better!!

    Eddie,
I wanted to ask how is your tank holding up with the buildmyled lights?

I agree with the Maxspect 160watt... You may want to be careful with it and new corals or getting existing corals acclimated to the intensity to the intensity.

Look into the Lumentek fixture from Reef Radiance - Home comes with a controller built in and is very reasonably priced. Good luck
