Should I get temp back to 80 or should I go higher?

Going up in temp to high will decrease oxygen levels in the tank and further stress them out. Calm down and make slow changes or you'll cause more damage then repair. Bringing the temp up to quickly is just as bad as dropping it.

Please post water parameters. Rather then say they are perfect.

    FWIW- I keep my DT/Reef around 77-78F.
Sounds like flukes, you had them, maybe they went thru a life cycle and came back or something?
I dunno- just throwing it out there.

    Thanks
Its different then flukes. 99% sure thats not it. I treated the display with prazipro back when it happened.
    Leaning towards ich now.
    The parameters are
    PH 8.0 (maybe 7.9)
    Ammonia 0
    Nitites 0
    trates 5-10
    Phosphates .10
Temp as of now is up to about 78

Should I let it stay at 78 or go up to 80 by tonight and leave it there?

Leave it at a temp you can be consistent at rather than jumping around. 78 is perfect

OK. I'm going to leave the second heater in the display and let it stay right at 78 then. My other is in the sump.
If it is ich will they overcome it on there own once temp is steady and eating with all water params good?
