    I haven't been testing for Mg but I will start, thanks for the info. I was under the impression that hammer, frogspawn ectt... liked moderate to strong lighting. I am running T5 lighting so I was thinking probably about mid way up in the tank with gentle flow.

    I managed to get a little closer picture.

    Hows the Hammer doing now,did you end up moving it?
    Im using 120w leds on my tank & My Hammer is best on the sandbed with a gentle flow,most Hammer pictures I see they are on the sandbeds.

    Toadstool in such a small tank with LPS is almost always a recipe for disaster. I lost a torch & a hammer in my 29 gal due to chemical warfare. I hope that you're using lots of carbon to balance out those chemicals that the toadstool releases on a normal basis. I had great water quality, great lighting & I never missed a beat with dosing/water changes. I hope you dont have to learn the hard way like I did.
