    Sure if you are making a macro algae tank. The algae will take up all of the nitrate and phosphate produced. You might want to use carbon since they send out chemicals to prevent growth in their neighbors.

    good thing that is what i have for it so hwat about lighting for both i should use coral lighting?

    Use 5000K to 12000K lighting for both. Using a mix of the bulbs is good.

    ok what about trimming them can i use scissors or do i need something special

    Get some good stainless scissors for the FW. For SW you will need to study about each type of macro to find the best way to thin them out.

    steve that tank looks simple and great
