Would it be safe to assume that if you have that CA monitor, and it reads..say 400-450 and you have the pH monitor and it reads 8.2 - 8.4 that your alkalinity is correct? I am just wondering.....????

BL I've actually had a PH of 8.1 CA of 435 and an ALK of 36 dKH. So I'm not sure if it would be a good assumption.

and as my Alk dropped to a reasonable range my PH did not change. My CA on the other hand dropped to around 280.

Now that my Reactor is all fine tuned I no longer have that problem

Champion lighting has it for 249.90
I assume it will sell at most retailers for close to that.
    Looks very cool.

I'd hold off on that, most scientists I've spoken with say there's to many things to interfere with a proper CA reading. I'm saving my dough ;)

I never had good luck with the pin point ph monitor, so I wouldn't be too quick to throw down much money of this one.
