yea i think so but not fully sure. The coral he was in was very nice it was about a 6-7' colony.

 

i think it was some sort of sun coral mabe. It was about 16" tall and about 8-9" wide. I went on a night dive and saw one fully open it was nice but my flash on my cam messed up so no night dive pics:-[

Gosh lucky. That looks a ton better than the stuff I saw diving in the Bahamas. I recently rented out a tank of air from my dive shop...and I managed to get 2 days of neighborhood swimming pool time I only used about 1100 PSI on the first day and got BORED...because you consume very little air in an 8 foot deep pool. Then the next day I managed to go through 1250 PSI by letting my friend breath off of my primary reg at the bottom while I breathed off of my octo. He had never breathed underwater before and wanted to try


I had a splash bomb...haha. What's really fun is adding excess weight to your BC, dumping the air out, and taking off your fins. It felt like I was on the moon. I could never run up a wall and do a backflip out of the water...

if you ever want to have some fun come to biloxi,ms and charter a boat to put you down at the oil rigs about 40-70 miles out and spear fish for amberjack and red snapper. Its cheap and one of my fav. Things in the world. Plus snapper is the best fish to eat imo...;d
