    In between the polyps or does it look like the polyps themselves are jellying?

    it is in-between them there is none on the polyps................. John

    Good.  As long as the jelly isn't on the polyps themselves and the polyps are intact, it probably isn't brown jelly disease.  Even so, I would gently remove the mystery jelly.  It may be a sponge and if it is, it can grow over or irritate the polyps

    I just noticed the pic you posted :) Looks like a sponge :)

    Do you have a hemostat? Dental pick? If not, use tweezers or a toothpick. You don't need to pick it all off but try to get as much off as possible :)

    nope no hemostat or dental pick but I can steal my daughters tweezers ;) ;D should I do this under water? :-/
