pH too high way to high

    Why would you add buffer when you don't even know what your alkalinity levels are at? Before I would do anything, I would buy the magnesium and alkalinity test kits or have your water tested at your local fish store. You will never solve your problem(s) if you don't know what those levels are at.

    Yes with 1 test jit I got the wack reading of 9.0 and with the other 1 i got a good reading of 8.3. First test kit was hagen and second was aaquarium pharmusiticals.
