I am going to quarantine my fish (all of them) to treat for the ich that I just can't seem to shake. My 30g QT is just cycling at the moment. I have 2 medications and want to know which I should use - paraguard or cupramine. If I was absolutely certain that the only problem was ich, I would use the cupramine for sure. But I am not entirely certain that it is crypt and not velvet, or that there are no bacterial infections, for which I understand I would be better off with paraguard? Which do people here recommend I use?

If you never plan to use the tank for anything but a q/t then use the Cupramine. The Paraguard is my treatment of choice because it treats secondary bacterial/fungal infections as well as parasites but the results are not immediate. You CANNOT though, under any circumstances use both.
