    For an 8 gallon tank the PAR 30 would be great! Plus its cheaper than the PAR 38, if you were getting the PAR 30 I would do a BoostLED if PAR38 I reccoment nanotuners.com

    i was reccomending the par30 as well as they are much cheaper and would work just as well over a small tank like that but he said he gets the par38 for only like 15 bucks more so i said go fot it for that little of a price difference

    100% true. ;) everyone always says, never go cheap because you'll end up spending more. and its almost 30$ cheaper plus 2 more bulbs, how couldnt i pass that up? BTW purchasing tonight, my parents are so shocked by how much i researched and everything, they might buy it for me LOL ;D
