    *Update - New Additions*

Picked up some new critters today! Finally was able to locate and purchase a pair of black misbar clowns. I was banking on my tank being large enough to keep the two separate pairs of clowns, and so far it's working. The old clown pair have their half, and they have a little boundary line. The new black pair are quickly learning not to cross said line. Out in no mans land, they all coexist just fine.

And I also picked up a little red formia start today. Risky I know, but figured I'd give it a try. This guy got a good 2+ hour drip acclimation to help.

I think he has a blue jaw if i remember correctly.

I have a tiny clown right now. he is by far my fav fish.

But he wont be in there forever due to his general "curiosity". Instead of a fish trap, im going to wait until he eats my SD and then ill trade him in or find a new home. He really is like a puppy though

well it wouldnt be until he was bigger...so atleast a year im figuring.

It depends on whether or not he starts eating everything. Ive taken some flak for keeping the clown trig in a "reef"... im just playin it by ear to see how it goes. Honestly the clown is my most expensive fish anyways, so its not too big of a deal if....im talking myself into it haha

hopefully it work out...if it doesnt, i will definately try another trig tho

Well, you will probably be OK around most corals. They don't actually eat corals. But they can go after SPS. What they do is knaw on them to keep their beaks maintained. And some inverts would be goners. But sofeties and the like will probably be OK.

I was told to be more worried about the fish ... not the case?

i put some rawhide in there for the beak maintenance so i should be ok...

...on another note im looking for new skimmer. I need one that doesnt really care about water level and will just get crap out (so i dont have to do water changes haha)... what do you got? I was lookin at some of these new cones but it seems like you gotta tweak em alot from what im reading...

Great additions! It will be interesting to see how the star does. I have always wanted one, but I just don't have the room.
