sorry camera is a little crap. my dkh has been dropping since a couple weeks but seems to have stabalized at 7. it is freaking me out but im not sure how to raise it and keep it there. its the first time i have to deal with this kind of issue. i know the whole baking soda story but for some reason im scared of this approach.

Have not used it, same principle thought. Follow directions and test again in 2 days, get some idea of the tanks consumption and dose accordingly. It's a very nice unique piece. I have heard they are really slow growers so it should not soak up too many elements too fast.

While I am not Cheryl, I would say 10 dKh is good, I like 4.2 meq/L. Not sure how that translates though.

I am happy with a consistent 8-9. I have found keeping it any higher was just a waste of a good buffer, growth was not improved. The polyp extension on my corals is the best right around 8.
