Oyster Question? Invert/Clam ? Thorney Oyster

LFS keeps getting these really cool looking Thorny Oysters. I know nothing about them. Good choice? Hard or Easy to keep? Requirements?

Well...the only problem i have ever heard about the thorny oysters is that their shell is like uncured live rock...and since you cant cure it...its sorta a risk to what you might get

TO are typically not exposed to ait that long, and being as such, won't have that much die off. One can scrub them clean, and have no problems then, if so disired.

I've never had a problem with them. Just look the rock over and make sure theres no white fuzzy "mold" like stuff on it, nor any bad smells.

    Hey Gresham,

Most of the time when i see the TO they are pretty big. Is it pretty hard to find small ones?
