    I wouldn't worry about it. Doubling up on your skimmer is usually recommended. Just means that when your skimmer is at it's worst (dirty) it still will pull enough skimmate to run properly. Reefkeepers usually do this as a safety precaution just in case they miss a cleaning or have an emergency.
