If my calcium was kind of low would that have anything to do with it. Im currently bringing it up. but its around 330 or so. Other than that my nitrites are 0 and ammonia is 0, nitrates are 0, alk is 2.5 meg/l i think thats kind of low? my Mg. is around 1170 wich is also kind of low but i am raiseing that as well. and salinity is 1.025-1.026

Those numbers are a little low but not enough to effect the OB. What about lighting?

My tank is 24 inches deep its a 90 gal but total vol. is around 110-115 gal. I did notice something, i shut my halide light off and kept my pcs on and about 30 mins later it is starting to look better, opening up expanding and all?? Why is this, to much light perhaps but its been doing well since before this so im not sure?

Thats why I asked about your depth, try putting him somewhere semi-shady. You have to take into consideration what type of lights he came from also. If he came from PC lighting to your 400w MH, thats a big change. Thats why its recommened to place them on the floor and if needed, a little shaded. Luna

Thanks a bunch i will karma you up, i thought bout moving him but it was doing so good i didnt want to mess with him, maybe i will move him to a sorta shady spot and see how it does. Ok i know this has nothing to do with this thread but one quick question, Which is better for a 55gal. 4-65w Power compacts or 4-54w T5 HO, i just want my carpet anemone in there for a species only tank (hes eatin all my small fish)
