    Ah, I thought my fish were on a late schedule lol. They don't get lightsout till 10. I would have done later, but I figured it's not good to have the sun lighting up the room for ~3 hours before their lights turn on.

    Me i have a NEWTEK PL36W/ 10,000 K and a NEWTEK PL36W/ACT in my tank in my dads i would have to get back to you when i find my sun glasses lamoo 8)

    That's in my 29 gallon bio cube in my dads 110 Gallon he as 2 CORALIFE Actinic 96W and 2 CORALLIFE HQI 20,000K ;D

    ok... I didn't see it mentioned... the HQI explains the 'dark look' to the tank then.

    Ya there is a dark look at certain times but when the sun is setting we turn off the 10,000K's to save some energy since the sun hits the tank at full blast. ;D
