    God knew I was going to be so quiet, shy, and milquetoast that he had to fill me with an artificial scent to alert others of my presence. However, He messed up. Whenever I use this feature, people go away from me as opposed to the opposite.

    (I think I know why you're laughing). The old hippie is right though. Due to the improvements in granular activated carbons and protein skimmers in the last decade, many hobbyists have come to believe there is no need for Ozone Generators now. In smaller systems, I would agree. However, in large systems that are heavily stocked or in QT systems or store systems, it's a very inexpensive way of keeping DO maximized as a side benefit.

    Here's what I find interesting. It's appearing that people don't know what ozone smells like unless someone points it out to them.

    I'd agree. I'd add that from my experience, this is pretty common.
