One and Only ?'s

"one and only" worked well for me. Tank cycled in 4 days.

 

I just started dosing the Eco-balance as well. I have added a dose a week for 3 weeks now and can see some positive results. After reading about how bacteria deficient our reef tanks are it makes perfect sense. I have actually been thinking of setting up an auto doser for Eco balance.

After doing about a 95% water change (I couldnt get every last drop of water out) and adding the One and Only.

The ammonia looks to be 0-0.25ppm

The nitrIte on my salifert test is between 1 and 2ppm.

I used 100% RO/DI water. I tested the water coming out of the unit and it was clean.

Do I need to do another water change?

 

I'm doing the fish cycle with "one and only". It's my 29g biocube with 2 very small clownfish. I tested everyday and I will test it tonight and see what I get. After day 3, nitrite was at 1.0, nitrate 5.0, and the ammonia was at 2.0. The clowns are more active then they have been since I got them. They look happy and not stressed.

 

I used "One and Only" to cycle my biocube. Worked great. I would recommend it.

wait 24 to 48 hours before considering doing another water change and measure nitrite again. I think you'll find the level will drop and you should be fine.
