    Lol, my LFS says that since they are shriveled up with no water in the bag when he gets them, he opens the bag and literally drops it straight in the tank. They always end up looking healthy after a couple days. I'm sure an hour would be enough.

    omg the world is coming to an end. ;)

    candid advice is the best kind. follow it to give the little guy the best chance of living. I was in your shoes a while back and I will testify that you can win, but it's not easy. Don't get lazy on your water quality.

    This 1-2 hour acclimation stuff is a joke, right? The longest I've ever acclimated anything was 25 minutes... and that was floating the unopened bag. Shrimp, RBTA, snails, fish, corals all handled it just fine. I did check the salinity prior to putting them in the tank but a 2 hour acclimation is silly long.

    My RBTA took all of 5-10 minutes to plump up and be happy. The longest a coral stayed mad was 30 minutes.

    I was there once when he got a shipment, you should see how he acclimates....or lack there of....it blew my mind that nothing died
