Off to A Bad Start, But...............................

As it turns out, my neons were just in hiding. I took out my plastic & they are out now in a school going back & forth across the tank. The discus just ignore them. As the discus approach the school, they just gently part to let them through. There is no hostility or bullying. My gourmais also is also swimming all over the tank. I was told to provide some surface plants for them. Some say they get quite large. I did not know that. I had to put in plastic surface plants. I hate plastic plants. My tank has real plants, but they never grow as quickly as we would like. I've anchored the plastic so they don't float all over the aquarium.
