    Are you sure the little guy isn't a squid? That's aweful tiny to be an octopus. Besides that, I only see 6 tentacles, octopus have 8. :p

    It would be easy to tell if it was an octopus. There are many kinds of octopus that are that small. The pygmy octopus can be comfortably kept in a 10gal. It could also be young and grow to be large. As for the tentacles, squid have 10 (only 8 are arms). In the photo, they are probably just behind him/her. Seeing 6 makes it more likely that is an octopus than a squid or cuttlefish. Also squid are free-swimming; octopuses "crawl" along the bottom.

    Very nice hitchhiker dude! and very intelegent creature. The funny thing is It has more sense then some humans out there. lol

    if i could find a pygmy octo id love to have one ...i have a 20gallon that would b perfect for one.if any one knows where to get one please lmk. either mail or lfs in ny thatd b great :).
