defiantly, I wasn't sure what he was going to do with them.:)

The best thing would be to frag them and give them to a fellow reefer or see if your LFS will give you credit for them or move them to a different spot.

no I wouldn't, just pick up a pair of tweezers from cvs.

You're dealing with an animal whose entire body is composed of 2 layers of cells, that when taken together are thinner than your skin.

i cant break the rock in half. It is a vital part of my reef structure. I am going to try the Tweezer method! Ha that reminds me of the Phish song! If it doesnt work, ill guess ill have a Tweezer Reprise! LOL

Ok. I just removed about half of the colony! They came off pretty easy. But some of them got stringy and some slime started floating around in the tank! My clownfish tried to eat a chunk of it too! I hope he will be ok! I used latex gloves and some cheap tweezers. I thought i would take two goes at the palys. Remove half, than wait a week or so, maybe run some brand new carbon and than remove the rest. I am thinking that some will come back since i couldnt remove the entire sea mat. But at least i can keep them in "control"!
    thanks alot RHorton!!!
