    What size tank are we talking about and what about flow. You can get build up on the GSP and it will not open. Water changes will keep things stable if you use good salt. Just keep testing and keep good practice of it and dose when you need it.

    34 gallon, it's got two power heads, i have one pointed towards the top and one to the bottom/middle. I placed the GSP in front of the power head to blow off anything from it, but no go

    You can take a soft bristle tooth brush to help clean it.
