    Hey guys,

    Learning from experience this morning;

    1. Hard plumb your return PVC together - As mine fell part and water went everywhere.

    2. Always have water moving - Dont have both ball valves off - Which contributed the PVC falling apart at such high pressure.

    3. Wait till your refugium sand is completely settled before diverting the flow to the display - Mine filled with sand and went cloudy and scared the hell out of my fish....

    4. Cover your electrical equipment.... Mine was covered in water, short circuited all the electricity in the house and I was nearly electricuted.

    Just some noob refugium tips from another noob :).

    You didn't glue your pvc? did you listen to the guy at HD, I was told no primer on a drain line once, I had a lot of prior experience with plumbing homes to know better.

    Thanks!. I have definately learned.

    I did not at all "go slow" hahaha.

    Thanks! I didn't glue or silicon it at all, except for one little spot that was constantly leaking. I was told by a few people here and at the LFS not to glue it. I will definately be gluing it now!.
