    Because of the mag drive, it will have alot of reistance, but you should be able to turn it 360, it will have more resistance over part of it. If it realy won't turn a 360, there is a problem.
    It was working properly, and just too loud, right?

    Ok now that we are up and running on the super awesome new site, I have good news! I went ahead and contacted SCA who very promptly sent a new impeller. (it didn't even take a week it was amazing!) I can happily say, I have been resting well these past few nights. Skims beautifully and I can barely hear it, if anything its a nice relaxing hum which I can sleep with! I guess the only thing that it more of a nuisance is that the skim is in the cone, not the cup. I turn it up, it overflows so it's just like mmkay. It still gets to the cup eventually, but I am happy I can enjoy fishies in my room.
