    She(not sure of the sex but I don't want males over running my tank bwhahahahaha) is currently acclimating. She is a Randall's Pistol Shrimp and I couldn't believe how TINY she is. I will take pictures once her acclimation is done. Welcome home Noel!!!!:biggrinbo

    That's cool on the name since sexing is so hard. Noel could work for both female and MALE.;D

    from my exp. the randals and tiger pistols will readily host with YWG's. my tiger only took 2 days to connect with my goby in my 55. my red japanese snapping shrimp (red pistol) has never paired...
    i hope your goby and shrimp pair up readily. they are so exciting to watch. the signals they give each other are so cool. simple tail jerks and nudges to warn that it is safe or a predator is near by.
    very cool combo!

    I am very excited about this. I got this tank not only for pretty fishies ::) but to see how different species interact with each other. I hope they pair up because that would be a very cool part of this aquarium experience.
