    i agree, but they must make them larger???? i had always thought one of those huge ice tea/ drink containers that have the spout on them would work in this same way. every time i see a large one i think of buying it but dont want the extra care another separate tank would take. since emptying water is not the only thing that needs to be done.

    Sorry to use the word cute, but it kinda is. However, it's just silly small and betta's like warmer water so where in the world could you put a heater?

    I dont' know... small? I kept a betta alive in a cocktail glass for like 2 and a half years when I was a kid...

    It wasn't the only cruel thing I did when starting in this hobby lol.. It's terrifying to think of some of the setups I had 10-15 years ago.... The fact that anything survived more than a week is amazing.

    Well, there's a reason people say that with time comes wisdom (at least for most people, hopefully :p )

    I started a thread about my betta because I simply wanted to show him off. :D He's in a 30g. long is really is happy. You can forgive yourself for keeping yours in a glass cuz you were just a little guy.

    It would be fun to try to make one of these with an awesome jug of some sort. anyone's thoughts on how the bottom is setup to work?
