As long as the edges show no recession, leave it be for now.

Well, I did some studying of my angel. Final verdict, he's got to go. I saw him sucking on a polyp of my devil's hand and hammer in 2 minutes time.

Should I just put him in the sump for a while or just trade him in? I'm not attached to him at all.

And I just now saw him trying to feast on a zoa. Ugh

yep, those are chances you take with angels in a reef. One time I added a flame angel in my tank and within 30 mins I checked back and every polyp in the tank was closed, so he came back out the same day.

Yeah, I'll put this on my ever growing "lessons learned" list.
Going to borrow the fish trap from the lfs tonight and see if I can catch the bugger this weekend.

ok, so a minor update. One day of no angel showed me some polyp extension, take a look at one week! I am glad it was such an easy problem to fix, even though it takes away a fishy...
Now I just need a better camera to show this stuff...

Yes sir! I am liking how it is looking! The side of the plug is encrusted to the bottom. It's also right next to the rock that the plug is attached to, so I'm curious to see if it moves over to the rock or not.
