no clue what this snail is! help!

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is...
    with learning this, that might explain why so many of my snails have disappeared....

    What's the best way to find it and get it out?
    I saw someone mention they come out at night?
    Am I just going to have to look for it in the middle of the night?

    It's a Babylonia for sure. They generally scavenge, but are capable of killing, especially vulnerable things like baby tridacnids. If you don't have clams, or plan on getting them, I wouldn't worry about it unless I saw him killing the other snails.
