    COULD ANYONE HELP ME?
    I HAVE A SLIGHT NITRITE REAING IN MY REEF TANK ABOUT 0.05PPM
    IS THIS AN ISSUE THAT COULD BE FEEDING HAIR ALGAE OR IS THIS AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL.
    PS I AM KEEPING A PORITES CORAL.:confused:

    Any level of nitrite can be an issue. How old is the tank? How much hair algae are we talking about. do you do water changes. Give us some info on the tank.
