    well I woke this morning to a dead trigger must have been much worse then he showed :(

    Sorry to hear that, make sure you qt the next fish and check out more at the LFS to make sure they are healthy. Also follow the feeding advice it will result in healthier fish which will fight off disease better. It will not be the cure all or mean no more loss of fish but the varied diet helps to provide them with the nutrients they need.

    Sorry to hear he didn't make it. I looked at your picture more closely, and the injury was pretty severe. Triggers are very hardy fish, although small Nigers can be timid. Do you have any other fish in the tank that could cause damage? The only other thing I could think of is a heater burn. That's more likely to happen with a new fish because they don't know not to sleep by the heater.
