    Thanks for the write-up.

    The old biocube tank didn't even have hinges? how did you remove the lid?

    The new hood looks taller and a bit bulky, IMO. Nice improvements otherwise. Maybe some better LEDs would be nice for the tank. Similar to what JBJ is doing with theirs? These ones appear to only be sufficient for accent lighting.

    The old units didn't have hinges for some odd reason.. I really can't understand why they designed it that way. The JBJ LED lights are the primary source vs the BioCube uses LED for purely accent lights.
