Thanks for the replies! Im looking on craigslist and have found many setups for around $400.00. Thats a 55gallon tank, stand, protein skimmer, heater, sump return pump and overflow box and circulation pumps.does . This seem like a good price?

If all the items in this setup are things that are in good working order and won't need to be replaced anytime soon, then yes it is a prety good price.

make sure the tank does not leak and look for scratches on the tank.

I just sold exactly what you are talking about, plus a light, for $300. Do yourself a favor and get a 75 gallon if you have the room. That extra 6" width makes all the difference. And you should get one about the same price. I got my 125, stand, plumbing, return pump, lighting and UV for $300. And others have gotten better deals. Just be patient if you can.
