    way to score on reclaiming the oak. I wish I had access to a laser cutter. Great design, I look forward to watching your stand come together.

    Detail of jellyfish knob. The knob is just an inexpensive one from HD carved to resemble to bell of the jellyfish and the tentacles will be carved on the wood below the knob. :D

    The frame is put together and partially painted. I wanted to paint the individual parts in case moisture got between the pieces of wood. I plan to paint all interior surfaces with enamel then caulk at the joins then use spray on Plastidip.

    Fixed the links for the photos. It's just the frame no artwork in wood yet.

    For my sump I'm doing a Frankensump (sounds better than ghetto sump) a' la Todd_Sails.

    Yesterday i got the back on and the interior base cut & on then finished painting the stand's frame.

    Life got in the way of my upgrade but it is once again progressing. Hope to get the top cut and painted soon. It's gonna be oil rubbed bronze color (the pine wasn't taking the stain very well, so paint it is).
