new to sps

    looking to add some sps to my tank any advice on some beginner sps if there is such a thing? thanks

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Pocillopora is a hardy sps. Next up would be the Monitpora, try some of the Digitata. Next in line would probably be Seriatopora.

    Get a test kit for Alk/Ca/Mag try to maintain those as consistently as possible.

    Higher flow than you might need for more LPS but not in direct flow.

    Acclimate them to your lighting prior to placing under the most intense light.

    Green Slimer is a good "beginner SPS", but still requires a lot of flow, light, and a stable tank (no Alk swings).
