can i dose b-ionic via dosing pump? if you need to shake before adding, then can i add a powerhead so it keeps mixing all the time?

Yes you can use a Dosing pump. A powerhead Isn't needed once the concentrates have been mixed with Fresh RO/DI.

I use two BRS Dosing pumps the 1.1ml per minute versions. After I mix the concentrates I transfer them into previously enjoyed 3 liter water jugs with a hole drilled into the lid for the suction portion of the hose. This is so I can keep an eye on the quantities. The remainder is stored away until I need to top-off the clear jugs. I don't need Mg enough to justify another doser so I just add that manually.

Yup, but not very often. Most times I test for it it's 1350 or above.

i am planning on GHL dosing pumps. they dont make two but they are very accurate and dose as less as 0.3ml/hr. you can set it the way you want.

    Nice thread.

I now have 20 different corals in my DT. 7 sps, 3 lps, and 2 Zoos, and 8 softies.
I also have two anenomes, etc. this is in a 125, with ~ another 25-30g of water in my 50g sump. My lps and a few softs are farily big, the sps are all fairly small- thus, I feel there is not alot of strain on my elements.

When I do test, all my params are always in normal limits.
I do 10-15% WC's every 2-3 weeks, and my SG seems to stay about .027. Temp about 80F.

    I only have PC lights.

Have not lost a coral- yet. Fish, Cleaner shrimp, urchin, CUC are happy.

My coral are growing and looking good.

    I don't dose anything, ever

    Just saying
