    Might I suggest that you invest in a refugium. You could take some of the larvae and deposit them in the safety of the refugium to raise the shrimp to adulthood, then sell them, or trade at local pet shops.

    thats on my list of things to do!!!!!!!! I've been reeding alot of good info on that at this site and will DIY. Probably use my 29g, this should work for an 80g. problem is we have power outs weekly here in the Sierra's and sometimes need to run a generator for days on end," Ineeded one but when i set up this tank it was no longer something i could live without.

    they should do ok in a sump too. i dont think they need light.

    they are tough little ones they live anywhere,"skimmer, canister filter etc. they even lived in a unheated, unaireated bucket for days while i tried to figure out what they where the first time.

    That's cool. Too bad all living reef creatures weren't that easy to keep!!!

    Yep, did that, and they do well until power fails and choice between them and 80g comes up. also consider this try to catch something the size of a pin head that can move at the speed of light.LOL

    yeah i didnt think about that. i bet they are hard to catch. lol. are the fish still eating the bigger ones. the ones that are 1/8 inch.

    Like the all you can eat buffet at alantis casino. the only way ive got them out so far is to clean out canister filter in water change buckit and then use a turkey baister. What a test of nerves not to mention eye strain.
