Well... at first they sent it Yellow Freight, and those morons put a hole in the glass. The second time they shipped it, it wasn't via Yellow Freight, and it arrived in one piece without any damage to the boxes. If you order from them, ask for them to not send it Yellow Freight (Although I didn't have to pay for them to reship it, it was extremely annoying to have to wait another week or so for it to arrive).

I am currently making a sump/refugium that I am about done with. Aside from that, I added an ATO and phosphate reactor. Later, when I can afford it, I'll replace the skimmer with a tunze 9002 nano skimmer, and add a koralia nano power head and rotating water deflector to one of the return pumps. Once I get the refugium going, I'll probably take the ceramic rings and carbon filters out of the return chamber, because that's just a horribly unaccessible place for them (and call me paranoid, but I think it's probably reducing flow as well).

I hear ya...I have been seeing that many ppl have to deal with the annoyances of shipping...

Will you replace the ceramic with LR rubble?

Thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure and ask them not to send it Yellow Freight when I have the funds to actually order :)

Chances are good that I'll just throw out the ceramic once I get some LR ruble/LS in my refugium, yes.

Not right now, no. I don't want to take any until I am done battling hair algae, and I'm hoping the refugium will help with that.

Aren't there some inverts that could help out with hair algae?

:( the black set up is sold out

    WOMP WOMP WOMP...

Wonder when they will be getting more in. Supposedly the entire set up with sand, test kit etc. is a limited time offer.
