    you could hang a PAR30 over it i would think that would get you the light you need. they also come in different sizes/wattage

    So picked up the tank today it is a JBJ nano cube dimensions are roughly L: 13.25, W: 13.5, H: 11.8, Guy said it was an 8 gallon, I am trying to find replacement parts to no avail as I can only find the 6 and 12 gallon parts the only 8 gallon is there rimless and this tank is not.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Spend the money on the Prime, well worth it for the quality of fixture.
