Thanks KC, Grinder, & Red! I wonder if my Maxima is jealous, I saw it looking at the Squammy and then it squirted me in the eye

Awesome Clam acquisition!!! My tanks not big enough for a squammy ;). Bought a Crocea recently and so far so good. I really like the pattern on yours! How long you had your maxima for? I thought they needed to be higher...closer to the light but yours appears to be doing well.

Thanks, I've had my Maxima for about 7 months or so. Originally I had it under 320w of T5 lighting on the sandbed, showed great growth/coloration even that far down in a 55g. I now have it under 1 250w 20K Radium bulb in a Lumenmax 2 Mogul Pendant. My cube is only 18" deep so it's on the shallow side. Both clams are doing nicely, going to start my dosing regimen soon too.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Is this your first Radium bulb and what color would you say the light is?

Have you ever had a Phoenix, if so, how would you compare the two?

Beautiful clam, Squamosa my second favorite clam next to Crocea.
