    Huh, interesting cup. I bet that would be easier to clean than mine.

    any ideas about using this in a sump? space is limited and this would fit perfect... does it only draw in water from the top hole?

    not real sure what you mean by top hole!? But the top slots do suck in the water but some is drawn from the bottom too! Don't see why this wouldn't work in a sump outside of the water depth! You'll have to check the height of the water you'd have in the sump and make sure it's reach the top of the grate!

    Yea thats what i meant lol. My water lvl deff isnt that high so i dont think it would work :(

    If my return pump wasn't broken, I would be running mine in my sump right now. That's what i had been doing. You will just need to have the water depth at a consistent level. I would suggest about 10.5 to 11" high, but keep it the same all the time.
