new rare corals at shop

hey guys, check out these 2 new corals we have at the shop. they are both very rare and very beautiful.

 

What are they? The second looks like it may be an acanthastrea?

They are nice...

 

i will get the name of them today, they are said to be quite rare indeed

 

those r pretty, first one kinda looks like some kind of encrusting monti, awsome corals

 

Both ara a type of chalie (echinophylia). The non prenounced corilet is a dead give away that these aren't a chalice. The lack of numerous small coralites and the fact it's an LPS, rules out montis

FWIW, I'm a chalice collector I've got about 15 different color morphs of the family pectiniidae.

How rare? What do they run, pricewise retail?

 

the red 1 is called echinophora lamellosa and it went for 400. the green 1 is called echinophyllia and it went for 300. they are both quite stunning in person. the red 1 came from the red sea and the green 1 came from japan.

 

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! thats alot of cha ching...but then again they were awsome!
