Yes. She's only acclimated once. The owner of the LFS told me the shipment was arriving late after hours so rather than have them acclimate her, then us picking her up and acclimating her again, one day later, we just picked her up and left her in the bag until we got home. It turned out well anyway. That was a big enough shipment and arrived late enough, the employees would have been there until 1 a.m. Having two extra people helping unbox, unbag, acclimate, and then put up got them out at a decent hour.

She hasn't taken to her PVC den yet. However, I have found this to be common for a couple of weeks. She's already had her first piece of non-live food. She took the frozen krill instantly. I intended to bring home some more empty snail shells and pieces of rubble when I worked at the store yesterday but I forgot. She is just going to decorate what I've given her for now.

You wouldn't laugh if your desk was loaded with work that needed to get done. I'm glad that was an acrylic tank for sure because Fluffy got pretty big. Tank is still running. It's now the softy QT tank.

Nice looking mantis. Makes me want another now.

It's amazing how intelligent these animals are. Reading about their smarts is one thing but actually seeing it like I've had the pleasure in doing is incredible.
