    They aren't as purple as in the video, but they are a little purple. You could probably just buy one to try it, then sell it if you don't like it, but i doubt that will be the case. These bulbs really add to the appearance of the tank.

    what would be a very nice coloration bulb? 4blue 1 white? or 3 and 2?

    I have the 3b 2w and that's the only one I've ever seen in person so I can't compare the two. It is also a matter of personal preference. I know a lot of people love the 5 royal blue leds, but i don't like that much blue.

    I have the 4b 1w and I love the color it adds to the tank gives it a great blue shimmer :-D
